Our Huerzeler App informs you about important information about cycling in the area. Here you can find out about opening times, information on bus transfers, events and guided tours. As well as emergency numbers and assistance in case of defects.

The bicycle cleaning upon return is included in the rental price.

Weekly rental
During season I the weekly price applies for a rental period of 4 to 7 days.
The rental bicycle reservation can be made either as part of a Huerzeler package tour with 20% discount or as "rental bicycle reservation only" via the reservation system.

Guests without advance rental payment must show valid identification (ID/passport) when picking up the bicycle.

Daily rental
Bicycles can also be rented on site for 1, 2 or 3 days - always subject to availability! A reservation in advance is NOT possible.

Long term rental
Long-term tenants pay from the 3rd week 50% of the weekly rent.

The rental bicycle reservation can be made either as part of a Huerzeler package tour with 20% price advantage or as "rental bicycle reservation only" via the reservation system. We cannot accept requests by e-mail or telephone.

Bicycle reservation mandatory! Your retained customer data are currently not available with your guest card.

In the cycling hotels, the guest is usually not allowed to take the bicycle to the room. The bicycles can be stored in the designated bicycle facilities. To secure the bicycle we provide a lock - for a deposit of € 10.-. Each guest has an assigned bicycle hook (with safety rope) for the entire duration of the rental.

Guests with a Huerzeler travel package can store their private bicycles or bicycles rented from other suppliers at the following hotels and stations. For guest without a Huerzeler travel package a fee of € 5.- per day applies.

No liability is accepted for private bicycles or bicycles rented from third parties in the event of loss or theft from the bicycle storage facilities. Private theft insurance is recommended.

Station Club Pollentia
Bicycle facilities are not available, the bicycles are stored in the guests hotel room.

CUBE E-Road 2024

The bicycle storages of the hotel Hipotel Gran Playa de Palma, aswell as hotel Iberostar Playa de Muro have dedicated charging stations for the E-Road 2024 battery. In all other hotels, the charging has to be self-organized. 

Each station has a boutique with cycling clothing from Huerzeler's own brand.

How to become a Champions Club Member?

• For a stay in one of our cycling hotels on Mallorca, Lanzarote, Andalusia or Greece (at least hotel and rental bicycle booked directly with Huerzeler) you get 1 point
• For a cycle trip (long distance tour) you get 2 points (excluding day-tours on Mallorca/Lanzarote/Andalusia/Greece)
• 20 points are required for a Champions Club membership

Sineu: The cycle track is public, ideal for "trial trips.". For guided tours please see the information board.
Palma: The cycle track is only open for racing. With early inquiry it is possible to use it against a fee

Andalusia

Chiclana: Renovated racetrack offers a weekly "training taster day". For more details please see the information board.

Each cycling station has a boutique, rental, repair shop and - with the exception of the stations Club Pollentia, Puerto Pollensa and Puerto Alcudia - a bicycle storage. A number of stations offer guided cycling tours.

Informations about our cycling delivery to hotels, fincas and private accomodations can be found here. 

For the rental bicycles, no deposit is required. Locks are available (spiral locks for securing the bicycle when exploring and locks for bicycle storage rooms) for a deposit of € 10.- each.

112 is the emergency number valid throughout the EU

This emergency number can be called free of charge from any landline or mobile phone in the EU. It will take you directly to the emergency services - ambulance, police, fire brigade.

The ambulances will take patients to one of the nearest public hospitals.

An identification document (ID/personal identity card or passport) and health insurance card must be carried at all times.

The Huerzeler app provides information on important matters relating to cycling on site, including emergency numbers and assistance in the event of defects.

We offer different types of E-Bikes. 

The E-Bikes Street and E-Nuride can be booked online, either as part of a travel package oder just the bicycle alone. The E-Road can only be booked as part of a travel package. 

In the summer and autumn seasons, E-Bikes are available at all stations on Mallorca and Lanzarote.

Deliveries or transfers to other cycling stations are not possible.

Rental price for additional batteries: start from € 20.- per day, discount applies for longer rental period (subject to availability)

We offer guided E-bike tours from the cycling stations Playa de Muro South and Playa de Palma. See information board of the corresponding station. Guests from other cycling stations can participate with an e-bike in the group strengths "fun/easy-going" under the following conditions:

• E-bikes always cycle at the end of the group
• overtaking other participants is strictly prohibited - except when cycling freely
• at start the battery must be 100% charged or a spare battery must be taken along

The bicycle storages of the hotel Hipotel Gran Playa de Palma, aswell as hotel Iberostar Playa de Muro have dedicated charging stations for the E-Road 2024 battery. In all other hotels, the charging has to be self-organized.

With guest card: Your personal guest card contains data such as inner leg length, saddle height and frame size. There is no need to fill out a rental contract and measure your inner leg length.

Without guest card: Body size and inner leg length are decesive for determining the frame size, the latter being measured on site. Due to the different types of bicycle frames measuring is essential. The bicycle is correctly adjusted by our experts (saddle height, pedal and saddle change).

Huerzeler uses its own frame sizes, ie- The details of the respective manufacturers are different.

Handlebar width, crank and stem length are matched to the frame sizes, see FAQ / Rental Bicycles - Technical Data.

Gravel bikes are available exclusively at Southern Peleponnese, Greece and can be booked via the reservation platform.

We will gladly organise your group or club trip, training camp, company event, incentive trip or team-building weekend on Mallorca, Lanzarote, in Andalusia or Greece on request.

Basically every guest receives a guest card. That card offers many advantages. Your personal information is stored on it, such as inner leg measurement, saddle height and frame size of the last bicycle rental. This saves time as you no longer need to complete the data form or be measured.

In order to benefit from these advantages, the guest card shall be stored and presented at the time of purchase of the bicycle rental.

When reserving a bicycle on our website: "retained customer data" is currently not available. We kindly ask you to complete the bicyle rental reservation form.

Shopping discounts

With the "guest card" you benefit from shopping discounts in our boutiques:

• 5% on purchases over € 75.-
• 10% on purchases over € 150.-

No discounts are available on tokens for guided tours, bus transfers an on assos items.

We offer in various stations, different group levels. Please refer to the information on our website.

Routes, distances and strenghts levels are advertised daily on the information board:

• Groups are under the guidance of a guide
• Please register for your desired group on site at the information board
• Price per day / tour € 20.-, participation tokens available at the boutiques

Guides assignment
"Guides assignment" per season is constantly updated on our website (german language).

Adolescents from the age of 14 may participate in guided tours with the consent of their parents or a legal guardian. The legal guardian accompanies the adolescent daily to the starting point and is responsible for the pick up upon return.

The responsibility for the young people lies exclusively with the parents or the legal guardian.

The costs (tokens) are the same for teenagers and adults.

Adolsecents have to take along:

• ID / identity card and health insurance card
• Completed emergency card resp. important and accessible telephone numbers of contact persons
• Sufficient cash for meals (and taxi if necessary)
• Information concerning parents/guardian's accommodation/hotel

Adolescents / children under the age of 14 may only participate in guided tours when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian - who bear full responsibility.

The guides assignment is constantly updated on our website.

• Road bicycles Carbon: with racing handlebar / clamp 31.8 mm

Handlebar stems: are matched to the respective frame size and fixed.

In our boutiques we offer a large assortment of helmets for sale. In each station rental helmets (brands: Ranking/Met) are available. Prices.

In Spain and Greece it is compulsory to wear a helmet outside urban areas.

Information directly on our website at the respective cycling hotel or at the hotel reception. Huerzeler Bicycle Holidays does not carry out any correspondence.

To secure the bicycle while on the road you will receive a spiral lock as well as a lock for the bicycle storage - each for a deposit of € 10.-.

Long-term tenants pay from the 3rd week 50% of the weekly rent. This applies to all types of bicycles.

• The reservation is made exclusively via our rental bicycle reservation system.
• The "Rental Bicycle Reservation Confirmation" must be presented in the rental.

Luggage carriers are not available. Exceptions: e-bikes street and city-bikes. Saddlebags with "bridle system" can be mounted on the rental bicycles.

Detailed information

The rental bicycles are fixed. We can not make modifications such as handle bars, stem, gears, etc., and this is also prohibited for the renter. Bring your own triathlon aero bars, own speedometer or GPS devices may be mounted by the renter. Damage caused by self-assembly will be charged to the renter.

Saddles and pedals are mounted by our rental staff.

Huerzeler does not offer Mountain bikes.

Racing and sports bicycles with mud guards are not available. Simple mud guards can be bought in the boutiques. Own clip on mud guards can be brought.

We have the following pedal systems: (no extra costs) SPD-MTB, SPD-SL, Look Keo and flat pedals. The pedals are free of charge and don't have to be reserved in advance. If you use other systems, please feel free to bring them along. 

In our photo gallery you will find:

• the weekly group picture, sorted by cycling station
• pictures of the various cycling round- and long-distance tours worldwide

Guests who have their picture taken during the weekly group photo or during a bicycle stage tour agree at the same time that the pictures may be used for our communication measures (print and digital).

We do not offer systems of this type (in cranks or hubs). Mounting on / at our rental bicycles may only be done by Huerzeler Bicycle Holidays. The systems have to be compatible with Shimano.

In each station and each of our hotels stand pumps are available for our guests. Each rental bicycle is equipped with a minipump (at no extra costs). In case of loss, a fee of € 10.- is payable.

The racing bicycles are almost exclusively equipped with 26mm tyres.

Transfering a specific type of bicycle (Di2, disc, straight handlebar, etc.) to another station is not possible.

General Leasing Terms and Conditions

Here you can download the technical data of our rental bicycles. 

We do not rent clothing and shoes for hygienic reasons. Various station boutiques sell SIDI and Northwave cycling shoes.

Our bicycles are equipped with the following saddles: Fizik Aliante Delta, Velo Plush (Ladies saddle). Seat post: 27.2 mm.

It is possible to bring your own saddle (without seat post) for mounting.

The season duration in the stations (incl. guided tours) varies, as do the opening hours.

All rental bicycles are equipped with a speedometer (without additional costs).

The speedometer, "Tachos" contain the functions: daily kilometer, total kilometer, average speed, time - without heart rate.

In case of loss, you will be charged a fee of € 20.

It is possible to bring your own speedometer, but you have to mount it yourself. In this case our speedometer will be removed.

For security reasons, tandems are not allowed on our guided tours.

Our cycling maps for Mallorca, Andalusia, Lanzarote and Greece show a lot of tour suggestions starting from all our stations. The maps are available locally in the Huerzeler boutiques.

Due to the new data protection regulation, we are no longer permitted to publish transfer lists with customer names.

You will receive your pick-up time from your hotel for the airport transfer approx. 48 hours before departure by email or SMS.

It is important that you provide us with your mobile phone number as well as with an e-mail address which you may access during your cycling holiday.

On your travel documentation you will find the contact information and emergency telephone number of your travel tour assistant. You can also obtain this information at our bicycle stations.

Triathlon aero bars can not be rented, but you can mount your own aero bars yourself. The renter is liable for damage to the handle bars

Before each excursion the tyre pressure should be checked. 6 - 8 Bar is the ideal level depending on the weight. This increases the durability of the tyres as well as the ride comfort and reduces the rolling resistance. Our stand pumps are equipped with pressure indication.
